Vintage Betty Crocker Cookbook

An old Vintage Betty Crocker cookbook, that is a family favorite cookbook has been found! In 1962 we aquired a Betty Crocker Cookbook that saw constant use over the ensuing years, to the point that pages fell out of it and it just plain fell apart. Over the past two years we have been looking for this family favorite, and I am happy to report we found a copy this past week. The timing of finding the 1961 Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook is just what we need as winter approaches here in Minnesota where we live. You see, autumn and winter time are the time for cooking, and puting away in the freeezer soups of every kind. A favorite is the Autumn Soup recipe in this Betty Crocker Picure Cookbook. eBay is an excellent source for locating vintage cookbooks, and there were several of these vintage Betty Crocker Cookbooks available for sale. I lost out of the bidding for two of these cookbooks, and was successful on the third attempt when I won the auction at a good price. I kept the purchase a secret and surprised my spouse earlier this week with the lost, but now found family favorite. Now I can ask for the Autum Soup knowing that the recipe is safely located on page 4xx of the vintage Betty Crocker cookbook.
